Food Pantry - $30.00
Last year, Children’s provided unreimbursed food vouchers and breakfast snacks valued at over $100,000 to breastfeeding mothers and patient families. As a result of increasing food needs and decreasing funding from a variety of sources, a multi-disciplinary team researched how to better serve the immediate nutritional needs of our families. The team determined offering a food pantry as an adjunct to meal vouchers could be successfully implemented at Children’s Hospitals and Clinics of Minnesota.
